We are a small animal GP practice with urgent care built into our regular hours — no on-call, no overnight, no emergency shifts. Our client base is engaged, compliant, and genuinely invested in their pets’ health. That means you spend your day doing real medicine — patient assessments, diagnostic workups, anesthesia, dentals, client education — not triaging owners who haven’t vaccinated or dewormed in years.

Our culture is collaborative and concierge-minded. Technicians here are not support staff — you are the backbone of how we deliver care. Highly trained techs and assistants handle client education, create estimates, and manage the majority of callbacks. You are empowered to do your job, and trusted to do it well.

Schedule

No Saturdays. No on-call. No overnight shifts.

Hours are 8 am – 5 pm with a midday break — real medicine without the chaos of high-volume work or the burnout of emergency shifts.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an LVT, CVT, or RVT ready to work in a practice that will actually let them practice. For the right candidate — someone with demonstrated skill, strong instincts, and a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience — we will consider an uncredentialed technician. ER experience is a plus.

Credentials we accept:

LVT (Licensed Veterinary Technician) • CVT (Certified Veterinary Technician) • RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician)

Or: uncredentialed technician with 6+ years experience (ER background a plus). Illinois licensing fee paid for credentialed candidates.
