Absolutely the best vet in Southern Illinois! They're a caring, calm practice that Yorick actually looks forward to going to. The vets and team are extremely knowledgeable and can take care of all needs from routine care, illness, injury, and even getting Yorick's passport stamped for travel back to Europe. I'm really glad they're adding emergency hours so I know we're in excellent, compassionate hands should the need arise. When my mom and I needed to help our cat Sam cross the Rainbow Bridge, Dr. Doggett was there with us to give us the time we needed, while explaining the procedure and timing with such care and humanity for a difficult but necessary task for our beloved family member. When my sister's dog was diagnosed with coonhound paralysis, the team went above and beyond to help us with physical therapy, water therapy, and medications to try to reverse an uncommon condition with little to no literature or research available. Rory made a miraculous 100% recovery in no small part due to this veterinary practice. They set a high bar for veterinary practices and even though we live in Scotland now, Yorick and I continue to trust Striegel with everything and do his routine care whenever we come back.
