Boarding services are provided to current patients that are up to date on annual vaccinations. To ensure that all pets in our care have a safe stay, we require an intestinal parasite test be performed while here. If a fecal test has been performed within the past year and you can provide proof that your dog or cat has been on a monthly dewormer (often included in preventatives such as Sentinel Spectrum and Revolution Plus) we will not require a new fecal test.
Additionally, if you cannot provide proof that your pet has been on a monthly flea and tick preventative, we will require that they receive a dose at the beginning of their stay, the cost of both the preventative and test being the owner’s responsibility.
